So what happens on the night? - The evening begins with a beginner class suitable for all level of dancer when 3 beginner moves will be taught, followed by freestyle dancing. At 9pm there is an intermediate class when 3 intermediate moves will be taught. (We do recommend that you have been dancing for at least 6 weeks before attempting this class.) Our experienced crew will take beginners into a separate room and recap the beginner routine again if they wish to do so. After the intermediate class we will teach 1 advanced move. We then have freestyle dancing until 10.30pm. You do not need a partner to come along to our class nights as our class structure ensures everyone has a teach of the moves.
Freestyle, what's that? - In freestyle, the lights go down, our resident DJ plays his fab tunes and you ask each other to dance. It a good opportunity to practice what you have just learned in class or try out some new moves. Both men and ladies do the asking!
What should I wear? - Something cool and comfortable! You will get hot so maybe a change of t-shirt and towel would be a good idea too! Shoes need to be comfortable with a smooth sole to assist your spinning....we don't recommend sport trainers as these tend to stick to the floor.
